Theatre Rental New York Theatre Group Our theatres are unlike most you will find in New York. They are in a beautiful, well-maintained art deco building with a rich history. Our patio and studio theatre offer multiple spaces that are perfect for the additional needs of film/tv shoots. The seating is intimate and comfortable. Location Our theatre is located in the heart of Broadway on 37th street between Seventh and Eight avenues. We are tucked away on a quiet street that is home to the film industry studios, sound engineers, special effects labs, film vaults. At night, free street parking is ample. Rental Rates The Theatre will be rented to individuals, businesses and organizations based on a rate schedule approved by the Board of Directors. The rental rate structure, effective January 1, 2009, is included at the end of this section. Deposits and Cancellations A deposit fee of 0.00 will be required to hold a date on the Theatre calendar. If you're recording in your home studio, you've probably spent thousands of dollars for a computer, software, audio interfaces, speakers, microphones and musical instruments. Whether you're recording your CD at home or working with a producer at independent studios, you want to make a budget and stick to it. My budget included fees for producer, studio, travel, musicians, mastering, PR and radio promotion, duplication, and distribution. ARREST UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT – BAILABLE OR NON-BAILABLE OFFENCE Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, Ex-IRS Khaitan & Co., Mumbai (article was published in Excise Law Times) Section 104 of the Customs Act, 1962 (the “Customs Act”) empowers the Commissioner of Customs to order arrest of a person for an offence punishable under Section 132, 133, 135, 135A and 136 of the Customs Act. In terms of sub-section (2) thereof, every person arrested under sub-section (1) is required to be taken to a magistrate without any delay. Sub-section (3) thereof confers same powers to customs officer for the purpose of releasing arrested person on bail as enjoyed by the police under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (“Code”). In terms of sub-section (4) of the Section 104, offences under the Customs Act are non-cognizable. However, it has not been declared in the Customs Act as to whether said offences are bailable or non-bailable.
